Audit Every Website Signup Integration, Not Just One Form
A website may collect entries through several forms, embedded tools and landing pages. Review them as an inventory. Testing the main newsletter form does not verify a campaign page created years earlier.
List the collection points
Record the URL or placement, form owner and programme described. Include mobile-only views and relevant embedded forms. Identify abandoned offers and duplicate implementations before changing the integration.
Map each destination
Check which audience and fields receive the entry. Compare subscription wording, source reference and status handling. A visually identical form may still send to a different account or use an older field mapping.
Test normal and exception paths
Use appropriate test entries for missing data, duplicates and changed status. Inspect failures and notification handling. Confirm that someone can investigate a submission that appears successful on the page but never reaches the destination.
Close gaps deliberately
Update or retire an old form with a recovery route and a clear owner. Recheck the public page and record the result. Keep the inventory current so the next campaign does not create another untracked collection path.
