Remove Your Phone Number from a Page That Publishes It
If a public page displays your phone number, start with that specific source. Record the page and the information shown before asking for a change. A search result and the site it links to have different controllers.
Confirm the actual exposure
Open the result and check whether the number is present in the public view. Distinguish it from a private account field visible only to you. Keep the page address and date without redistributing the personal information in an open discussion.
Use the publisher’s process
Edit a page you control or use the site’s established privacy or correction route. Explain the particular entry and requested change. Do not submit unnecessary identity documents through an unverified removal service.
Review search visibility separately
Google provides a process for requesting removal of certain personal information from Search. Its guidance distinguishes that action from editing the source website. Follow the relevant official process where applicable and retain the result.
Check each source after the request
Revisit the page concerned and track unresolved entries separately. A correction to one site does not establish that every copied entry has changed. Keep incoming-call problems in a separate incident record rather than assuming source removal blocks callers.
