Latest Mailing Database · Editorial standards
Last updated:
This policy sets the standards for news, guides and commentary published by Latest Mailing Database. It explains our editorial scope, responsibility for sources, commercial disclosures and how readers can request a correction.
Publisher and scope
Latest Mailing Database is published by Latest Mailing Database Digital Marketing Services, registered to Rodylyn Villaflores, DTI Business Name No. 7901164. Our business address is Blk 34 Lot 5 Easthomes 3, Subd Rd, Bacolod City, 6100, Negros Island Region (NIR), Philippines.
Our coverage concerns contact-data practices, privacy and marketing developments, SMS and email operations, data quality and related industry issues. We also sell data products. Readers should be able to distinguish reporting, practical guidance, opinion and commercial material.
News, guides and commercial content
- Industry News: Reporting about an identifiable development, with the relevant event date, sources and an explanation of what changed.
- Guides: Practical explanations and workflows. A useful guide is not automatically a news report.
- Analysis or opinion: Interpretation or a viewpoint, identified so it is distinguishable from reported fact.
- Commercial material: Product information, sponsored articles and comparisons involving a commercial interest must make that interest clear.
We do not classify an old article as new reporting simply by changing its date or adding a news label. Existing educational posts remain in the blog archive. The Industry News section is reserved for articles selected through editorial review.
Sources and verification
Our standards require writers and editors to check factual claims against relevant evidence, identify the original source and distinguish an announcement from an implemented change. For laws and regulatory developments, use the responsible authority’s published material and identify the jurisdiction and effective date where relevant.
Attribute quotations, statistics and third-party claims. A provider’s own accuracy claim is not an independent test result. An article describing a test should explain the method, scope, date and limitations. Links to sources should let readers check the relevant information without implying endorsement.
If a material point cannot be verified, it should be qualified, omitted or held for further review. Do not invent interviews, qualifications, case studies, quotations or results. A report about a draft proposal must not present it as enacted law.
Authors and editorial responsibility
Articles should carry the name of the person responsible for the piece, an accurate publication date and an author profile or biography. An author’s biography must reflect their actual role and experience. It must not imply legal, medical or other qualifications that have not been established.
Nihal Anan is CEO of Latest Mailing Database and writes about database marketing, lead data, email marketing, lead generation, telemarketing and digital marketing. Read his author profile. Questions about editorial responsibility can be sent to support@latestdatabase.com.
Ownership, sponsorship and other interests
Articles about our own service must identify Latest Mailing Database as the publisher and a provider being discussed. Articles involving shared ownership, shared management, affiliate arrangements, sponsorship, payment or other material support must disclose the relevant relationship clearly.
A provider shortlist should explain how the companies were selected. It must not claim independent testing or a market-wide ranking without the evidence and method to support that claim. Paid or promotional material must be identified so readers can distinguish it from editorial reporting.
AI-assisted work
AI tools may support research, organization or drafting. They are not an original source or proof that a claim is correct. The person responsible for publication must check facts, quotations, links and the final wording. AI use must not create fictional expertise, evidence or events.
Dates and updates
The publication date records when the article first appeared. A modified date should reflect a substantive change. Updates should explain significant new information or corrections rather than making unchanged material appear fresh. News sitemap eligibility uses the original publication time; routine edits do not restart that window.
Corrections and complaints
Email support@latestdatabase.com with the article URL, the disputed statement and any supporting source. Use the subject “Editorial correction”. Send only the information needed to review the issue; do not attach a full contact database or private identity documents.
We review the issue against the article and relevant evidence. When a material factual correction is needed, the correction should identify what changed and when. Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a separate correction note. Where a point is disputed or remains unresolved, the response should explain the position rather than silently presenting uncertainty as fact.
