Sign In to Facebook Through the Official Account Route
Facebook sign-in should take place through the official app or website. Before entering credentials, confirm the destination and which account you intend to use. A Page-management task may require access through the authorised personal account.
Check the destination
Open the official app or type the known Facebook address directly. Be cautious with an unexpected message that creates urgency around a supposed account problem. A familiar logo does not establish that the page requesting a password belongs to Facebook.
Use the account’s normal sign-in method
Enter the relevant account identifier and complete the security steps requested by the official service. Do not send passwords or authentication codes to someone claiming they can fix access. Keep the sign-in task separate from granting another person business access.
Use recovery when access fails
Follow the official forgotten-password or account-recovery route. Check that you control the recovery method being offered. Repeatedly creating new profiles can make business ownership harder to trace without resolving the original access problem.
Review the session afterwards
On a shared device, sign out and inspect whether credentials were saved. Confirm you are acting as the intended profile or Page before publishing. For business work, retain an access and recovery plan so staff changes do not leave important assets dependent on one person.
