Create a Facebook Page with Clear Business Ownership
A Facebook Page should represent the business accurately and remain manageable when staff change. Prepare its information and ownership before creating it. A personal profile used for access and the business Page serve different purposes.
Prepare the identity and access
Gather the approved business name, category, description and contact details. Identify the authorised person creating the Page and the colleagues who need appropriate access. Avoid using shared passwords as the normal way to manage a business asset.
Use the official creation flow
From the authorised Facebook account, use the Pages area and the current Create Page option. Add the requested name and category, then complete the relevant business information. Follow the current interface rather than an old screenshot that may use different controls.
Review the public presentation
Check the profile and cover images, description and contact destination. Confirm that addresses, hours and links are accurate where included. View the Page as a visitor so information visible only to administrators is not mistaken for published content.
Test the operational handover
Submit an appropriate test enquiry and confirm who receives it. Record ownership, access and recovery responsibilities. Before running ads, verify that the Page and the business’s offer agree and that the team can respond to the interest the campaign may generate.
