New Jersey Do Not Call: Follow the Official Registration Link
New Jersey’s official consumer information points residents to the federal Do Not Call Registry. Use the official route and keep the registration confirmation. An offer to sell a phone list is unrelated to registering your own preference.
Open the official consumer information
The state’s NJ PowerSwitch rights page explains registration for home and cell numbers through the federal service. Follow that link rather than a paid intermediary. Check the website identity before entering the number or an email address.
Complete the required process
Follow the registration service’s current instructions and retain the result. If unsure whether an earlier attempt completed, use the official verification route. A saved browser form is not necessarily confirmation that a registration was accepted.
Handle continuing calls on their facts
Keep the date, caller details and any message for an appropriate report. If a known business is involved, retain a clear request to stop marketing calls. Do not provide financial information to a caller claiming payment is needed to remove you.
Keep publication and calling separate
A request to hide a number from a public directory differs from a Do Not Call registration. Device blocking is another control. Use the process matching the desired result instead of assuming one setting removes every appearance or use of the number.
