Three Online-Service Models to Compare by How They Are Delivered
Online services can be organised in different ways. A project, recurring arrangement and support service create different obligations. Choose a model that matches the work you can reliably provide rather than promising effortless income.
A defined one-off project
Agree a specific output, required inputs and acceptance process. Examples include an authorised content inventory or a documented file transformation. Keep revision limits and exclusions visible so a small project does not quietly become unlimited ongoing work.
An agreed recurring service
Describe the activity repeated each period and the information the client must provide. Establish what happens when the input is late or the scope changes. Recurring billing needs a continuing deliverable, not simply a promise to remain available.
A bounded support arrangement
Specify which questions or problems the service covers and how requests are submitted. Name the response process without promising a result you cannot control. System access and data handling should remain proportionate to the authorised work.
Compare the real obligations
Estimate preparation, delivery and communication effort for each model. Verify the client and payment process, and avoid paying a recruiter for access to a supposed job. These are ways to structure a service; they are not claims that customers or earnings are guaranteed.
