Southwest Phone Lists: Define the Country and Service Area

Southwest is a relative location, not a complete geographic brief. A phone-list request should name the country and the included states, provinces, cities or postcodes. Define the area your business can actually serve before assessing how many relevant contacts a selection contains.

Use explicit inclusion and exclusion rules

Write down the places included and any boundary areas excluded. A telephone prefix may not establish where a person currently lives or works. Keep the location field’s meaning clear, especially where it describes a company office rather than the individual contact.

Match the audience to the offer

Separate consumer residents from business professionals and state the service requirement. Avoid replacing geographic relevance with an unrelated premium-status label. A place name does not establish that a person needs a product or agreed to hear about it.

Review the contact workflow

Check source dates, duplicates, calling hours and applicable suppression rules before the campaign. Confirm what the selected location fields actually represent. Latest Mailing Database does not promise access to an airline loyalty programme or its private member directory through a southwest audience label.
