Connect Social Product Discovery to a Working Checkout
A social post can introduce a product, but the business still needs a reliable buying process. Map where the customer sees the offer, where payment occurs and who handles the order before promoting a social-commerce campaign.
Identify the transaction location
A customer may move to a website or use an available platform commerce feature. Check the current options and eligibility for the relevant market and account. Do not assume an old Facebook shop application or a feature in another country is still available to your business.
Keep the product information aligned
Match the image, variant, price and availability across the post, catalogue and checkout. Set an owner for updates. If inventory changes, the campaign should not continue promising an item that the fulfilment team cannot supply.
Test the actual purchase route
Use a phone and the platform’s browser to place a test order. Review shipping, payment failure and confirmation. Check whether the customer must sign in somewhere unexpected or repeat information that was already collected.
Prepare support after the sale
Explain where customers can ask about delivery, cancellations or problems. Route messages to a team with order context and suitable access. Evaluate fulfilled orders after returns and costs, rather than describing reactions to the product post as sales.
