Send an Evite by Email without Adding a Guest Phone Number
You can use an email address for an Evite invitation; a guest phone number is not the only contact route. Choose the invitation’s email delivery workflow and confirm the address with the guest where necessary.
Choose the appropriate guest route
Open the event’s guest-management controls and use the email entry option for the intended guest. Consult Evite’s current documentation if the screen differs. Text-invitation instructions concern a different route and should not be treated as a requirement for email delivery.
Check the guest details
Use the name and email address appropriate to the invitation. Confirm spelling and avoid assuming an old address remains current. You do not need to acquire a marketing database to invite people whose contact details you can appropriately obtain directly.
Review the pending audience
Inspect the guest list before sending and remove unintended entries. Keep the event purpose clear and avoid exposing guest information unnecessarily. A personal invitation should not silently become a subscription to unrelated marketing.
Investigate a missing invitation
Evite’s troubleshooting guide describes email and phone delivery issues separately. Check the address and guest status before assuming a phone number is required. If the guest reports a missing message, use the official troubleshooting route rather than repeatedly adding duplicate entries.
