Local SEO for a Real Estate Business: Useful Area Pages
A real estate search page should help someone understand the service and the area before making an enquiry. Changing a city name across many near-identical pages does little to answer a buyer’s or seller’s practical questions.
Keep business information accurate
For an eligible business, maintain the correct name, contact details and operating information in its Business Profile. Google describes local results in terms of relevance, distance and prominence. A website change cannot remove the distance between a searcher and a business.
Publish area information you can maintain
Explain the locations you genuinely serve, the types of property handled and how enquiries are assessed. Date information that can become stale. Use original photographs or licensed material and avoid neighbourhood claims that your team cannot substantiate.
Separate listings from evergreen guidance
A withdrawn listing should not continue to look available. Establish who updates its status and what happens to its URL. Keep long-term explanations about the selling or viewing process on appropriate pages so that an expired property does not leave the visitor without a useful route.
Connect search visits to the right response
Provide a clear enquiry form and identify whether the request concerns a viewing, valuation or service question. Route it accordingly and record the source. Review suitable enquiries and completed appointments, while avoiding claims that a ranking change automatically produces a property sale.
